Indoor tests

Structural strength of tire, rubber compounds quality, uniformity, stiffness and geometric characteristics of tires etc are bench-tested on benches. Benchmark tests ensure the quality of products and their technical reliability.

To assess the quality of manufacturing mass-produced aircraft tires and compliance of prototypes with the specification requirements two unique benches of inertial type are used.

The benches allow testing of aircraft tires with an outer diameter from 200 mm to 2000 mm at speeds of 500 km/h and up to 25,000 kgf load.

Serial products are tested in periodic, qualification and type tests and test tires are tested during preliminary tests.

Selected samples of tires are tested in a certain number of cycles simulating the conditions of takeoffs and landings of aircrafts and helicopters in a real operation.
